On Friday 3rd October, we at GES were proud to host the Toyota & GES Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Cottrell Park Golf Resort in Cardiff. It was a fantastic day of golf, competitions, and fundraising – all in support of Guide Dogs, a charity that provides life-changing support for people living with sight loss.
Guests were welcomed with breakfast and refreshments before heading onto the course for a shotgun start. The atmosphere was buzzing, with teams ready to enjoy a great round of golf while helping raise money for this important cause.
We were also delighted to be joined by special guest Geoff Swain, former Trickshot World Champion, whose presence added an extra level of excitement and prestige to the event.
Throughout the round, players took part in a variety of fun competitions including:
Longest Drive
Closest to the Pin
Putting Challenge
Beat the Pro
Wobbly Line
and even a Hole-in-One challenge with the chance to win a car!
After the golf, players enjoyed a well-deserved meal, followed by our raffle and awards ceremony. The generosity of all involved – from raffle entries to sponsorships – was outstanding, and together we raised vital funds to help Guide Dogs continue their incredible work.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us, took part, and contributed to making the day such a success. The combination of great company, a stunning course, and incredible generosity made it a day to remember.
